Futures

Equus Run periodically releases wine futures for very limited production of specially crafted wines. Wine Futures provide an opportunity for our customers to purchase limited wines while still in production prior to their bottling and release to the general public. Oftentimes we have a few barrels of wines that deserve extra special attention due to their wonderful complexity and aging. These wines are set aside for Futures releases.

For example, we released a delicious Futures award-winning Pinot Noir in 2009, winning a silver medal in California. The wine was sampled by our customers after 6 months in oak barrels and then bottled for release at 11 months of aging. With only 140 cases produced, the wine sold quickly!
