"Please, please bring back the Cab Blanc. I usuallly am a white wine lover, but the blend of the red and white was delicious and turned out to be my favorite wine. Any chance you'll bring it back? I really enjoyed the Johnson Brothers conert last year. I hope they will have a return visit. I moved to Central KY from Northern Ky 5 years ago. While out exploring one day I came accross Equus Run and fell in love with it and I am now a wine club member. "

"Love the new Viogner Wine in the latest release, the mixture of grapes & fruit give this wine a pleasure to your pallet. I am not a connoisseur of the red wines but the new Merlot is exquisite. The winter scarves & earmuffs on the bottles on display are so cute and I personally commended the artistic lady doing the work and look forward to the next new releases & the newest displays in the tasting room. What a great wine experience if you've never visited Equus! "

"Equus Run hit a grand slam with the Smooth Jazz concert with Marion Meadows. As a wine club member, I have been to Eqqus Run for concerts, tastings and of course to purchase wine. Now my secret is out and I'll have to share you with the rest of the state. I met a couple from Louisville by way of Chicago who were convinced that Lexington was way more progressive than The 'Ville. That is a first!!! Had a blast and everything was PERFECT. "

"On my way to a wine sampling party, I stopped by your tasting room and bought the Kentucky Vidal Blanc. At the party everyone tried each wine and ranked them. At the end of the night the score cards were tallied and your Vidal Blanc won! There were about 25-30 bottles of wine, lots of white wine and several reds. Vidal Blanc has always been one of my favorites, but I was amazed that out of so many other “favorites” it was THE favorite. THANKS! "

"My husband and I enjoyed last night’s concert tremendously. Food was yummy (and filling!), weather was fantastic, setting was gorgeous, music was perfect (for 50-somethings like us), and a nice bottle of red zin was the perfect way to set it all off! Couldn’t have found a better way to celebrate our 34th anniversary! Looking forward to coming back out soon, and bringing some friends who were unable to join us last night. "

"My mother-in-law, my husband, and I visited your winery on the cold Easter weekend. I had insisted on visiting a winery, and glad we chose to visit yours. The gentleman pouring the samples was knowledgable about the various wines available, and the wine glasses made a wonderful souvenir of our trip. We were so enthusiastic during the sampling that we ordered a case of assorted wines, which we proudly served at our 1st annual Kentucky Derby party in our home. We will plan to visit Kentucky again, when we can enjoy the complete tour of the winery."

"We visited your winery on a recent Saturday in February. With relatives from out of state, we were looking for things to do on a winter day and so we visited three local wineries and a distillery. We found that by far the experience at Equus Run was absolutely the best. For wine tasting it was the best value, your staff was very accomodating and showed the best of Kentucky hospitality. The complimentary glass is a wonderful idea. We wondered at some of the wineries why they would charge you for tasting if you bought wine. We felt they should at least give you the money back if you buy a certain amount of wine. But the glass and experience at your winery more than made up for the nominal $2.00 charge. Your staff did not hold steadfast to the list of sampling wines and were very happy to change out some samples. Also, we tried to leave a tip, and were turned down. NOW, that is what a winery should be! We were there to sample and buy your products and you treated us like family. Keep up the good work, and thanks for the hospitality! "

"We had an absolutely wonderful time Saturday evening at your Concerts at the Vineyard event……I brought my new director who comes from Fort Wayne, Indiana, (we are converting him to become a Wildcat), several co-workers and two neighbors. Everyone had a super time and they all want to return. You and your staff do such a wonderful job and we were very impressed. The vineyards will absolutely be one of our regular stops. "We visited Equus Run for the first time Saturday afternoon Sept 2, 2006. We had a great time - the jazz was great, the wine was great and the setting is beautiful. We traveled from Louisville and it was well worth the trip and very easy to find. We will be back! "

"The hotel where I stayed Derby week (Ashton Inn Suites) gave me a bottle of your Bluegrass Blush, in the Derby 132 label. Opened it when I got home Sunday, to unwind, and was shocked to see No. 8 on the saddle cloth. You not only make great wine, but you picked the Derby winner!"

"We live in Georgetown and have seen the sign to Equus Run many times on our way down Paynes Depot Road. Recently we made the right hand turn off Paynes Depot and 1.9 miles later, were treated to a Central Kentucky treasure. The wine tasting was outstanding and refreshing. And the etched glass as a souvenior was icing on the cake. What a relaxing and enjoyable time we had. We also joined the wine club to insure ourselves future visits. Thanks Equus Run, keep up the good work!"
