Do you ship wine?
Yes, we do! Depending upon the time of year, some wine shipments may be held a few days to avoid extreme temperatures such as possible freezing or overheating in-route or at delivery. For our very thirsty customers, expedited overnight shipments can be arranged at additional UPS costs. We only ship within the continental USA to those states that we have legal permits for shipping. Wine laws change regularly, so keep checking back!
Please note that we currently do not ship our spirits products.
Are you child friendly?
Children are welcome to visit Equus Run at any time, but please remember that not all event performances are child friendly and those will be posted upon purchase of tickets.
Are you pet friendly?
Absolutely, but they must be on a leash. Only Service dogs are allowed inside any buildings.
Do you have food available?
Our Tasting Room has a selection of deli cheeses, sausages,and crackers for purchase.
Do you have other drinks available?
Along with our wine, we serve select beer as well as a variety of sodas and water. Cocktails may be served at selected events. Mocktails are also available.
Is there indoor seating?
Yes, there are a number of bistro tables and chairs in the Tasting Room.
Is there outdoor seating?
Yes, we have spacious patios with tables and chairs along with garden and gazebo seating, too.
What are your hours?
Our hours vary from season to season. Currently we are open Mon-Thur. 11am to 5pm, Fri and Sat 11am to 7pm and Sundays 12-5. We are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
Are you open in the winter?
Yes, we are!
Are you open during inclement weather?
We are open as long as it is safe for our customers and well as our staff. If there is a question about the hours, check our social media, the website or call the vineyard at 859-846-9463.
Are there events during the winter?
We try to host as many events as possible throughout each season.
How do I make a reservation?
You can make a reservation by using the link on our webpage.
Do I need to make a reservation?
We do recommend a reservation so that we can have adequate staffing available, especially for larger groups.
Can we walk the property?
Absolutely! We have 38 acres for our guests to enjoy!
Can we take pictures (prom, Seniors, engagement) at your winery?
We love for our venue to be photographed. We do ask that you call our office and speak with our Event person to make sure that we do not have other things scheduled and to clarify what time the winery closes.
Can we have a picnic at Equus Run?
Yes, you may! We do require that all guests stop in the Tasting Room for a pass. The pass may be purchased for $10 or make a $10 purchase. Wine Club members are required to have a Guest Pass which is available in the Tasting Room at no charge.
Can we fish at Equus Run?

Can we do tastings outside?
Yes, you may if weather permits.
How long is a wine tasting?
Generally, our wine tastings last for about 30 minutes.
Do you host weddings?
Yes, we do! Equus Run makes a beautiful backdrop for any event, especially weddings. We have38 acres with several recommended venue areas for weddings
Do you host corporate events?
Yes, we do! We can accommodate corporate outings or meetings.
Do you host smaller events such as baby or bridal showers, birthday parties, etc?
Yes, we do.
How do I make an appointment to see the Event Space?
You can make an appointment on our website. We will be happy to schedule a time for a visit and answer any questions you may have.
Do you do Fundraisers?
Absolutely. Equus Run hosts many community non-profit fundraisers throughout the year. Have your organizer call our office and we will be happy to host your fundraiser for you.
When are there grapes on the vines?
The grapevines are most full of grapes June thru late September. Harvest is usually done in late September or early October.
