Private Events

Whether you are planning a business retreat, fundraiser, awards banquet, baby shower or a birthday party, our venues can accommodate from 10 guests to 1400 guests. The rental package includes the use of tables, white-padded chairs, A/V projector and screen and linens can be arranged if needed. We work with a list of preferred vendors based upon their excellent quality of service, food and products. (NOTE: Other vendors may be used as long as they are insured and licensed in Kentucky and approved by Equus Run.)

With convenient proximity 15 minutes away to Lexington, Georgetown and Frankfort, KY, a variety of lodging is readily available for your out-of-town guests. And our property can accommodate tour bus parking, horse trailer parking and even horses themselves can “park” in the open acreage or paddocks if not being used. You can even park your helicopter in an open 10 acre field if need be!

For all outdoor event rentals, outdoor amplified music must end at 10:00pm. The weather forecast is always watched by our staff and if your outdoor event may be affected by weather, our staff will keep you informed of the Doppler radar weather forecast that may impact your event. As a precaution for outdoor events, we highly encourage the use of tent rentals and/or our indoor space rental as “insurance” for inclement weather issues.

For the safety of all persons, Equus Run reserves the right to make a final decision on whether a function can be safely held outdoors. Factors that will affect this decision are:

Doppler radar predicts 60% chance or more of rain

Lightning

Local tornado warning

Extreme cold temperatures

Food and beverage amenities can be arranged with our preferred list of catering partners. Our caterers can provide you with a variety of culinary foods, styles and pricing. Whether you want a holiday themed party, backyard BBQ or white linens and ice sculptures, our caterers have the creative talent to serve you. Each of our preferred caterers have worked 20+ years with Equus Run and are experienced with using our venues.
